Charge Multiple Devices
One of the best reasons to opt for wireless charging is the fact that many charging pads can take many electronics at once. This means your tablet, smartphone, and smartwatch can all get a boost while you go about the rest of your life.
The Extra Cost
Sadly, cost can often be an important factor to many of us – and wireless charging might not be the cheapest option for many. Most devices already come with a charging cable, and there are plenty on the market. Would we really spend our money on something we don’t need?
Some people will go to any length to hack into our tech, and it seems as though charging cables could be a new way to get to our devices. Personal cables usually have no issues. It’s sharing them with multiple people that could see it become a problem.
Lack Of Speed
While wireless charging might look as though it’s straight out of the 22nd century, it is usually a lot slower than traditional cables. Plus, we can still use our devices when they are plugged into a cable, but having them on a charging mat means we have to find something else to do instead.
There are many pros and cons of wireless charging. On the one hand, there are plenty of uses for wireless charging. On the other, sometimes sticking with what we know is the best way forward. It might be time to weigh up the options before making a decision.
