As a company, Apple has gotten a lot of flack for a lot of reasons: cost, duration, and production. But one of the biggest complaints of the last several years has simply been that they keep releasing new iPhone models, at much higher prices, with too few differences from the previous model. With little time in between releases to develop many new features, they end up looking almost the same, and functioning almost the same, but being sold at a steep price increase.

But rumor has it that in 2020, they're changing their look.

The first reviews coming in from the iPhone 11 are pretty good so far, but talk of next year's model has already overshadowed the recent release despite being another year away. So the question is, can the newest highlights and an even newer design be compatible?

A well-cited analyst Ming-Chi Kuo disclosed some research notes on technological developments which claim that next year’s phones will feature the first all-new design since the 2017’s iPhone X. The three major renovations being focused on are: an all-new form factor design, 5G support, and camera function upgrades. 5G is a universal mission these days, and every new iPhone release has come with new and improved cameras. But this time, the same features will be offered in two different sizes – one reduced, and one increased from the iPhone XS, ranging from a 5.4-inch to a 6.7-inch screen – giving people a choice of comfort they haven't yet been offered.

Another report from Bloomberg earlier this week indicates that Apple's goal is to implement side-by-side fingerprint and face recognition technology for extra security.
