Lego Have Created Special Sets For Adults To Help With Stress

Who said that Lego was only for kids? Look, if you are 30 years old or even older, no matter what age you might be, we won’t judge you for playing with Legos. However, the building block company is now catering to its older audience, selling adult-friendly sets.

However, it’s not simply a toy set for adults to play with. The main goal of these new Lego sets is to help adults if they are suffering from any form of stress or anxiety. Lego Forma, as it is “formally” called, very much has a natural theme to it, allowing adults to build anything from the world of nature. These include a wide variety of plants and animals.

Also, you can customize your models with all sorts of skins, making this a free-flowing, personal pastime. Essentially, the skins are in place to give the builder as much creative license as possible.

Seeing that the project is still in its early stages, Lego wants to make sure that its audience will keep coming back for more. Therefore, the company is only releasing a coral fish initially.

Each model should take a couple hours to complete. “The young adults we speak to tell us they still feel the urge to be creative and enjoy the physical experience of making stuff – but life seems to get in the way,” Senior Marketing Manager and Head of Creative Play Kari Vinther said. “We want to help them rediscover the joy of building that children possess and unleash their imaginations for a couple of hours.” According to the company, Forma is a “premium LEGO experience.”
