In this day and age, when everything we touch seems to be technologically driven, why shouldn't our furniture also follow suit? Here is a coffee table that is so much more than what meets the eye. Production company StoreBound has taken this idea and rolled with it, creating an innovative piece of technology called the Sobro Smart Side Table.

This coffee table has a lot of cool features that you never knew you needed. These include things like Bluetooth speakers, meaning that you never have to worry about the atmosphere at your house parties ever again.

The table boasts a thermoelectric drawer, that essentially works as a fridge. You can store your drinks and, not only do you not have to get up to go to the actual fridge, but it will thoroughly impress your guests.

If you want a cinematic atmosphere while watching a movie, you can turn off the main lights and operate the LED lighting system. Other cool features include a wireless charging pad, allowing you to charge a variety of your favorite devices, including your phone.

However, a side table has also been developed. "After experiencing the runaway success of the Sobro Smart Coffee Table, we listened to our crowdfunding backers," StoreBound president Glenn De Stefano said. "[We] saw an opportunity to innovate further and add more features packed into a smaller footprint."

As far as StoreBound is concerned, it is thrilled to be collaborating with Indiegogo. "The Sobro Smart Side Table is the latest introduction in the Sobro brand’s furniture revolution, and we are thrilled to be launching the product through Indiegogo."

The Sobro Smart Side Table is primarily intended to be bedside. However, it can also be used as a coffee table. Ultimately though, its main purpose is to keep drinks cold and devices charged.

Also, you can sync the device with the Sobro app that allows one to use their phone as a remote control. This means that you can turn the lights on and off via your phone, amongst other things.
