Tinder has made a notable impact in Asia with the introduction of its Android App, and it announces to go further by introducing a smaller, compact and more enjoyable version called Tinder Lite. This smaller App functions perfectly as the old one, and in actual fact is 25 times smaller, except that it is not possible to upgrade to a Gold Subscription or Tinder Plus at the moment. It performs all functions of the former app and it saves data. Coupled with that, this app scraps out spheres that consume excessive data like the ‘feeds’. Without worries, users can use the same account they used on the old app with the new app too.
By expansion, it is believed that right after it becomes available in Vietnam, virtually other countries in Southeast Asia and those in South America will be able to download this app on their stores.
Tinder raises the chances of a bigger market in Asia
With this new product that seems more available and fairly affordable for everyone to operate, either with poor or rich phones, there is no better chance for Tinder to create a bigger market and run the market than now. Mandy Ginsberg, the CEO of its Match group also declared that the company has been spending quite a lot in international countries across Asia and South American than anywhere else. Everybody seems to notice that in India and Korea especially. With a well calculated timing and design like this, coupled with how much the company is spending, the pundits are suggesting that it really would not take Tinder much of time to rule the Asian market.
