You Can Finally Plan A Mixed Modes Travel Plan On Google Maps

Have you ever found that traveling becomes more of a chore than a hobby? It could be anything from trying to find your way around a new city to working out the quickest way to beat the traffic and get to work. Now, Google Maps plans to release a mixed modes travel plan to help us out.

Making The Change

Many of us have been waiting for years to finally find a way to plan our trips using different modes of transport without having to put in each stage on our own manually. Thankfully, it seems that Google Maps could have answered our prayers. The app plans to combine the likes of walking, cycling, driving, car-sharing, and public transport in one easy step.

The Little Details

As if combining our trip into one easy to see plan wasn’t enough, it turns out that Google Maps also plans on giving us details that could influence the option we choose in the end. This is everything from the cost of sharing a ride with someone else to local taxi firms or Ubers in the area. Plus, it’s said that it will tell up where and when to get on and off public transport.

Sometime Soon

It turns out that we won’t have to wait long until we get to enjoy Google Maps’ new plan for ourselves. The company announced that it will be on the market in the next few weeks. However, it will only be released to 30 countries to start until they have ironed out all the details. It could be time to keep an eye on our app.

Google Maps has helped many of us over the years. However, it looks as though it’s about to become better than ever thanks to the mixed modes travel plan coming to the app any day soon.
